We all value strong relationships in all areas from marriage, dating, friendships and sometimes business. Strong, positive relationships that are open and honest are very important. A key ingredient in a strong relationship is to develop emotional connections. It's important to always act with integrity, be compassionate, friendly, loyal, and to make sure you do the right thing and treat your relationship well. The hardest thing is to build trust, but it does exist, just have to find it.
In any relationship, its importnt to be a good listender as well as a communicator. Open, honest communication is the best foundation for any relationship, but rememember at the end of the day it's not whay you say or what you do, it's how you make people fee. That is what matter's the most. Im order for someone to feel good in a relationship, he/she most know the other person truly cares about them.
What is love without trust?
The real value and reason of being honest in a relationship is that it inspires trust. Trust and sincerity. If we don’t have trust and sincerity in our relationships all mayhem breaks loose.
Because if we can’t trust those who are closest to us we cannot rely on them in times of stress or in a crisis. It leaves us filled with doubt rather than imbued with confidence. And it gradually eats away at the relationship until it is destroyed.
This is not the type of foundation on which we can build a lasting relationship.
So yes, honesty in a relationship is vitally important because it gives us the assurance that we can trust and rely on the person we love. It is what love is based on.
Mother Theresa quote:
“People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.”
