#NYFW: Pure, Flawless and Angelic, The Mathieu Mirano Presentation.

Runway Report by: Shimriya Richard

Spring screams two things; color, and the placement of natural beauty. Neutrals have never looked more incredible, and the placement of a sequin has never looked more endearing. With the focus on the element within the designs, Mathieu definitely knew what he was doing.  The atmosphere of the room was placed entirely on the models. They were pure, flawless, and angelic in all the sense. The models certainly enjoyed flirting back with some of the camera men. Spring is the time of year to be inspired by love and magic. The tone of the room was mysterious; a circular room with white lights playing off the colorful clothing. The white designs held much more elegance however, nut none the less, everything was gorgeous.

What took me more than anything was the hair on these ladies. Twists, intense braiding, and sleekness all around were the limelight.  With such detailed hair, it amazed me how everything balanced out. The focus was intense, but none the less, everything got the focus it deserved. The models looked like angels in the white light. The makeup was as natural as could be and if anything, they seemed to shine to the designs. It felt like walking into a preview of heaven and those were the angels.

Red, oranges, whites, and cutouts are something we can all expect to see for spring once again. Every woman knows and loves to flaunt some skin. The accessories were heavenly. The placement of a diamond waist belt was all a pretty white dress needed.  Sometimes a little more statement is needed, and that’s when some sleek heels come into the equation. Detailing was all the rage, and the placement of the right accessories. This presentation was a delight to see. Pops of details, colors, and lighting was all I needed to feel the sense of an angel’s presence.
