Farah Angsana, of Indonesian descent, and American/British upbringing presented her Spring 2013 fashion show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Studio at Lincoln Center. It featured a wide assortment of dresses that ranged from beaded gowns with crystal embellished necklines to sleeveless shift and pleated cocktail dresses as David Guetta’s “Glasglow” played in the background.
Angsana drew inspiration from the glamorous life of a woman traveling across Brazil exploring the Amazonian culture. This is reflected in her use of vibrant colors and prints. She seamlessly incorporated dramatic structured one shoulder dresses, lace, and delicate, flowy resort wear into a collection that any woman would dream to have in her closet. Her “glamazon” models strutted these divine dresses cleverly paired with a bright red lip and high ponytail down the runway and exuded confidence in the sassy silhouettes.

After the final walk through, the designer herself took to the runway and along the way she humbly thanked and greeted her guests.
